The Anytime Couriers Stadium played host to another fantastic afternoon of networking and collaboration as the Campion AFC 1963 Business Club held its latest meeting.

The day began with drinks and light snacks, followed by introductions from both new and returning members. The relaxed setting encouraged everyone to share updates and ideas before the speakers took to the floor.

Richard Wadkin opened the session by sharing his networking tips and ideas, highlighting the importance of building genuine relationships and finding creative ways to support each other’s businesses. He was followed by Nigel Skinner, who gave a fascinating talk about his life and career, offering plenty of inspiration and wisdom from his experiences in business and beyond.

The special guest speaker for the afternoon was James Mason, Chief Executive of the West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and former Chief Operating Officer at Bradford City AFC. James delivered an insightful and engaging presentation on leadership, local enterprise, and the role of sport in community development — a talk that left a lasting impression on all who attended.

The meeting concluded with a discussion around fundraising ideas and a round-up of business passed between members before closing with an open group discussion. Once again, it proved to be an afternoon full of energy, ideas, and opportunity.

The Campion AFC 1963 Business Club continues to grow from strength to strength, fostering strong business relationships and supporting local enterprise through football.
