
Campion AFC are delighted to announce that Paddy Sykes has signed a new contract with the club, keeping him at the Red & Blacks until the end of the 2026/27 season.
Paddy returned to the club last season following a brief spell away and once again demonstrated his importance to the side, finishing as the club’s top goalscorer with an outstanding 23 goals across the campaign. In doing so, he also extended his record as Campion’s all-time leading goalscorer at semi-professional level.
A proven and consistent performer in front of goal, Paddy was also an integral part of the club’s historic double-winning side during the 2022/23 season, further underlining his importance to the club’s recent success.
Manager Lee Ashforth and his management team have moved swiftly to secure Paddy’s services as preparations continue for the 2026/27 season, with the striker set to play a key role once again.
Speaking on the signing, manager Lee Ashforth said:

He sets standards every day, works incredibly hard for the team and always delivers in big moments.
