Campion AFC are saddened to announce the departure of Robbie Graham after an outstanding spell with the club, making 277 appearances and scoring nine goals. Robbie leaves as the club’s record appearance holder at semi-professional level.
A constant and versatile presence, Robbie represented Campion with distinction across numerous positions and also featured for Emley during his career.
He played an integral role in the club’s historic 2022/23 double-winning season, lifting both the NCEL Division One title and the West Riding Senior County Cup.
Managers Lee Ashforth and James Bicknell would like to place on record their sincere thanks to Robbie Graham for his incredible service to Campion AFC.
“Robbie’s longevity at the club speaks volumes about him as a person. Season after season he delivered with consistency, professionalism and total commitment whenever he pulled on the shirt. He was a player you could always rely on, both on and off the pitch.
From a manager’s point of view, it’s been an absolute pleasure to work with someone who sets standards through his attitude and performances. Campion AFC is better for having had Robbie, and his contribution will not be forgotten.”
Everyone at Campion AFC wishes Robbie nothing but success in whatever comes next.
