Liam joins the club following an impressive spell with Bradford (Park Avenue), where he played a major role in enhancing the club’s media output and social media outreach. His creativity, professionalism and modern approach to football media made a significant impact during his time there and earned widespread praise across non-league football circles.
Alongside his work at Bradford (Park Avenue), Liam also brings a wealth of experience from across the EFL, having worked with clubs including Bradford City, Huddersfield Town, Burnley, Salford City, Morecambe, Scunthorpe United and several others throughout the football pyramid.
As Head of Media, Liam will oversee and develop Campion AFC’s media operations both on and off the pitch, with a number of exciting new ideas and initiatives set to be introduced as the club continues to grow its presence and engagement across all platforms.
The appointment comes as Sheridann Dickerson transitions into the role of General Manager at Campion AFC, allowing him to focus fully on the club’s administration, operations and matchday management moving forward.
Speaking on the appointment, General Manager Sheridann Dickerson said:
“I’m absolutely delighted to welcome Liam to Campion AFC. We’ve had a number of really positive conversations over the last few weeks and from the very beginning it was clear he shared the same ambition and vision that we have as a football club.
“The work he’s done previously, particularly at Bradford (Park Avenue), speaks for itself and his experience across the EFL will be a huge asset to us.
“We’re determined to keep moving the club forward both on and off the pitch, and bringing Liam in is another big step in that direction. I genuinely can’t wait to see what he brings to Campion AFC.”
New Head of Media Liam Chew also shared his excitement after joining the club:
“Really looking forward to getting going. I’ve been impressed by the set up and people I’ve spoken to so far. It’s an exciting time to come on board and I hope the fans and staff enjoy the ideas and content I’ve got in mind.”
Everyone at Campion AFC would like to warmly welcome Liam to the club and we look forward to an exciting new chapter for the club’s media department.
