Campion AFC can confirm that the allocations for the upcoming 2026/27 Northern Counties East Football League Premier Division were officially released this morning by the National League System and The FA.

The club can now confirm the teams that will compete in the division for the forthcoming campaign, with several notable changes ahead of what promises to be an extremely competitive season at Step 5 level.

Following their relegation place finish last season, Albion Sports have been reprieved and will remain in the division, while both Retford FC and Retford United have received lateral movement into the NCEL Premier Division. Elsewhere, Keighley Town replace Eccleshill United, and Dearne & District alongside Worsborough Bridge Athletic have earned promotion from Division One.

The standard and strength of the division once again highlights the challenges that lie ahead, with a number of ambitious clubs across the league aiming to compete at the top end of the table.
