Ewan has been in fantastic form since joining the club on dual registration from Bradford (Park Avenue) midway through the 2024/25 season, scoring 11 goals in 20 appearances so far and quickly establishing himself as a key part of the squad. before joining Garforth Town in a brief spell towards the end of that particular season.
Following discussions with the management team, Gregson re-joined Campion for the 2025/26 season, and the club are delighted to tie him down to a contract.
Manager, Lee Ashforth, said:
"We’re absolutely delighted to have secured Ewan Gregson on a contract with the club. Ewan is a young and outstanding talent, and after losing him last season, it was a real priority for us to bring him back. His quality, work ethic, and potential make him a perfect fit for the way we want to play and the direction we’re heading as a club.
We’re ambitious, and signings like this show the progress we’re making. Ewan’s return is another important step forward in building a squad capable of achieving our goals, both now and in the future. I’m really excited to see what he can achieve here.”*
Head of Recruitment, Sheridann Dickerson, added:
“We’re really pleased to secure Ewan on a contract for the rest of the season. He’s been outstanding since coming in, both with his goals and his all-round contribution to the team. At such a young age, he is still improving, and we believe he can play a big role in our push this season and hopefully beyond.”
Having already featured in the previous two games against Pickering Town and Trafford respectively, Ewan will be in contention to face Handsworth tomorrow evening.
