Campion return to action on Wednesday evening as they welcome Frickley Athletic to the Anytime Couriers Stadium for another big NCEL Premier Division clash under the lights.

Lee Ashforth’s side come into the game on the back of a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Horbury Town last Friday night. Goals from skipper Aidan Day, Ewan Gregson, and substitute Jahro Parchment secured all three points in what was described as an “ugly win” – but a vital one as the team looks to build consistency in the early part of the campaign.

This week’s visitors, Frickley Athletic, bring with them a proud history and strong following, and manager Tom Claisse has put together a competitive squad for their Premier Division campaign. Matches between the two sides have always been fiercely contested, and Wednesday promises to be no different.
