Copley beaten in County Cup

The Development squad negotiated a first round tie against Halifax based side Copley today as they came away 4-2 winners at Shroggs Park.

Despite going down in the first half, to penalties from Chris Hellewell and a goal from Jaden Powell put the away side in the lead and a second half goal from Cam Green gave a comfortable two goal cushion.

Although not a perfect performance the squad will no doubt be happy to have won in the first round and progress through to the next stages.
