Old Nemesis Continues Hoodoo!

It was an old foe that Campion AFC First Team Squad came up against in the County Challenge Cup fourth round. And unfortunately the script was much the same as last seasons Cup final where Fields AFC continued their hoodoo over their close rivals.

A depleted Campion side went down one nil in the first half when a back pass from Daniel Brown was chased down by the opposing striker. Admittedly Campion had opportunities, the best of which saw perennial goalscorer Jordan Missin miss from the penalty spot.

The defeat means Fields progress through to the next round of the cup with just two representatives from the County Amateur league left in the form of Huddersfield YMCA and Lower Hopton.
