Ten goal thriller as Campion progress

Campion AFC progressed through to the Fourth Round of the County Cup with a 6-4 win in a ten goal thriller against White Horse Church Fenton.

Following the game being postponed on three occasions it was re-arranged at Zara Sports Centre on a 3G pitch. Despite a poor start to the game, Campion struck six goals with Jordan Missin continuing his fine form bagging a brace and Craig Nicholls hitting the ground running with four of his own.

The win sets up a tie with either local rivals Fields FC or Heywood Sports in the next round.
